This project was born from a collaboration with Moiré, with the support of Obra Cultural Balear and the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics. The educational guide comes in two versions, one for students and one for teachers, focusing on the poetry of Joan Alcover, a key figure of the Mallorcan literary movement.

The voice of a poet

The typographic composition transforms his poems into fluid graphic structures. Verses unfold on the page like a landscape, expanding and contracting according to the natural rhythm of the text. The result is a reading experience that is both poetic and spatial, where every movement traces the pulse of the poetry.

Texture as a concept

Textures from the Mallorcan landscape turned into book pages.

The design is rooted in the Mallorcan landscapes that inspired the verses. Photographs taken in the Serra de Tramuntana become visual textures throughout the publication, capturing the filtered light, rough bark, and gentle wind through the trees. These details form the quiet visual voice of the guide, a subtle ecosystem where poetry and landscape converse without hurry.
